About Us

Alpine Ascent is a small, independent company operating in the Chamonix Valley. Offering a variety of summer activities, Alpine Ascent was established by Gavin Foster who has lived and worked in the Chamonix Valley for many years. Gavin also runs the highly successful ski company “Ski Weekend”.

Susie Burt is our Operations Manager and has worked in Chamonix for over 10 years and has a wealth of experience in everything from walking, paragliding and skiing to sales.

All of the staff at Alpine Ascent share a passion for Chamonix and the outdoors and we pride ourselves in offering you the best possible holidays and service. Whether you just want to relax and enjoy yourself or fill your holiday with wall to wall adventure we can arrange everything for you - tailoring itineraries to your needs.
